TL;DR: Exact same premise - self-combusting humans vs. the fire fighters in charge of taking them out. Atsushi Ohkubo also made a statement about Trigger ripping off Fire Force so i mean!
Both are anime about a team fire fighters fighting fires and strange fire creatures. Both came out in 2019.
Atsushi Ohkubo (Creator of fire force ) even said his idea was stolen from the staff of Promare.

Spontaneous human combustion becomes a common occurence, transforming people into demons who wreak havoc in town, and now a especialized group of fire-fighters has to fight against them. Both have really good animation.
Promare is more or less Fire Force but:
- Infernals are called Burnish, basically Infernals but with a human side
- Mecha is a replacement for firefighters to fight with, instead of using fire

I can't believe there's more than one anime about people who spontaneously catch on fire and a special force is deployed in order to subdue them. Well, there are! So you might enjoy one if you liked the other

Very similar universes with a few minor differences.
Both are also visually outstanding.
Both anime are strongly focused on Fire brigade as daily life activity, teamwork, and investigating Burned-human phenomenon. Both main characters have unlimited fight spirits. The different is base of power used to fight villains, Promare wears mecha power and Fire force uses a gift called pyrokinetics. Both anime antagonists are powerful too. What the important point is both anime shows epic fights (at this point my opinion is promare > fire force) and sure, there's a bit fanservice included.
