Very similar premises, a mysterious monster-like adult male accompanied by a much younger female in a European style setting with a lot of urban fantasy elements. Mahoutsukai no Yome is a full-on series, complete with gentle moments, action, drama, mystery, and so on (plus a phenomenal soundtrack), whereas Totsukuni no Shoujo is two much simpler OVAs. Both anime are excellent though and are very similar to one another in concept, setting, and tone. If you liked one you'll likely like the other.

Both these shows premises are very similar, but the worlds setting and atmosphere are completely different. Magus Bride is brighter and focuses on magic and
the extraordinary beings and vistas in its world. while the girl from the other side focuses on its dark and frightening world that its characters are forced to live in and call home while being constantly hunted by unknown forces.
The Girl From the Other Side is only a ten minute OVA so I highly suggest you check it out.

If you enjoy dark, pretty, well-produced stories about young girls getting adopted by mysterious, tall skinny men who dress like 18th century gentlemen, except with the monstrous head of an animal's skull, in the magical world of European fairy-tales, which were made in 2017/2018 by Studio Wit and Production I.G, then [whichever of these two you haven't seen yet] is the show for you!
Totsukuni no Shoujo is inspired by the Ancient Magus Bride!
Having a Fairy-Tale Like story between a beast and a young little girl in a world of Fantasy where they try to stay together.
Both series are about a lovely girl who lives her life with a monster in a fantasy world.
