Two 100% romantic anime. 0% comedy, and very little dramatic. If you want to enjoy watching an anime of pure love and feelings, here are two. Also in both animes the characters are more adult than usual in anime series.
The same plot where it has that older guy to younger girl kind of relationship, except in Koi Wa the guy was just way too old for the girl.

Yesterday and After the rain show a different perspective of the same topic: love with an age difference. After the rain has a lighter and more innocent perspective, while Yesterday is a bit more serious
About a worker with love from the past, and a girl who wants to pursue her love towards the person who is much older than them. Other similarities are within the setting, gloomy atmosphere, and slow-paced story progression. One would like both if they are interested and want to be invested in those things mentioned.

Both explores the dynamic of age gap relationship and intricacies around it. Also explores adulthood struggles and has a bittersweet sense of nostalgia. Both has good background art and animation, also the music is good, especially the ending songs from both shows.
