Both tv shows are romances depicted in junior high school. Both about a girl and a boy who try to understand what is love/relationships and their process to interpret, understand and experience it. Both shows are in the cutsie side of the genre but have a hidden dramatic undertone which hits you hard. As The Dangers in my Heart storyline progresses feels more and more like Tsuki ga Kirei.

Both of them are best-in-class middle school romances with realistic character interactions. There are no other shows that compare to these two in the genre.
