Both anime feature a female otaku forming a romantic bond with a male they meet through their hobby.
Both stories feature one guy surrounded by many girls, but both romance stories end conclusively.
Both have copious amounts of fanservice.
Though it takes until season 2 for Nogizaka Haruka, there's an extremely similar "vow of love" scene in both of these anime.
In my opinion, both are underwatched.
