In his beautiful animation, many bishonens, in his style, in his kind of argument, drama, suspense, supernatural, romance.. same feelings.
They have characters that are alike.
Tsukumo and Zero are much alike,
Luka and Kaname are alike,
Yuki does have some things from Aidou,
Tsukumo and Aidou do have the same voice actor.
The anime Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru made me think alot of Vampire Knight.
Well...Actually Uraboku is actually a shoujo-genred. And besides it's all about to protect. In Vampire knight it's also about to protect what's precious to a person.
Psst: You will find a lot of siliar character in these two anime. And the art is quite similar too.
Vampire Knight and Uraboku shares similar story elements and themes: characters who possess supernatural abilities, tragic and dark pasts, and of course drama; however, unlike Uraboku, Vampire Knight heavily focuses on the element of romance and uses it to drive the story forward.

Both are spooky gothic themed stories with broody atmospheres to them, that share intricate artstyles as well as character designs, and lots of high octane drama in it and elements of action as well too.
