If you like one of these shows, you're going to love the other. It's really as simple as that. Both are French novel adaptations flawlessly brought to life in anime form by director Osamu Dezaki. I could praise him endlessly but the entire staff for both shows deserves a medal or two. Both shows retain a very serious tone and can be pretty melodramatic, with RoV diving a bit more into romances whereas Remi is more of a somber adventure following his everyday life as he barely gets by.
