Both Anime is extremely wholesome. They are both Fantasy SoL with a similar wholesome atmosphere. However Uchi no Ko no Tame naraba have more sad and emotional moment compared to Kobayashi.
Kanna and Latina are quite similar:
Both come from a different world(Kanna) /race(Latina) who do not have a place to go and get adopted by a Human Family.
Both do not know much about how everything works in the Human World but slowly learn and adapt to their surrounding.
Both enrolled into a human school
Both are extremely cute.
