Tetsuo and Kobayashi lead ordinary lives until their chance encounter with supernatural beings thrust them into exciting situations filled with many laughter, adorable moments, and heartwarming scenes. While Demi-chan focuses on Tetsuo and his desire to learn more about the monster girls, Dragon Maid chronicles the life of the dragons as they attempt to understand Kobayashi and humanity itself. Although Demi-chan and Dragon Maid are lighthearted series, their powerful message about society leave something to think about.
- They both have monster girls trying to fit into society and live among humans- although in Dragon Maid, the girls are dragons rather than complete monsters
- Both series are absolutely adorable and lighthearted
- Both touch on the subject of humans discriminating against those different than them (the different ones being the monster/dragon girls)
- Scarce fanservice, but it's still there
- So. Freaking. Adorable.
They have a lot of similarities and have a similar feel, so if you liked Demi-chan, you're sure to like Dragon Maid as well- and vice versa.

It is one of the best series to watch after watching Kobayashi .. besides having very good comedy and two very endearing characters. Maybe it is not at Kobayashi's level but it is a great Anime

Both shows revolve around mythical creatures living in everyday life by trying to fit in. It's a slice of life and it has good comedy

Monster girls, piece of life, cuteness, and comedy.
I recommend everyone who likes Kobayashi-chan, Demi-chan.
The story lines are related, normal people living with limited amount of "different" people, dragon maid encompasses dragons, but Demi-chan is dullahans, vampires, but more plot based then violent

Both are animes about daily life. also, both have monsters as main characters
- cute animation
- both mc is full human interacting with demi-humans
- mc is solving problems around the demi-humans
- both have wholesome friendships
Both Anime is quite similar, both story-wise and comedy-wise.
Both Kobayashi and Takahashi's life changed for the better after their encounter with the mythical character.
If you love dragon maid you will like Demi-chan.
