These two have very similar premises: Competing in a sport in which you are watched and judged based on your performance. Aesthetics, difficulty of moves, etc are all taken into account. They are both fun to watch, and unfortunately both sometimes suffer from too much of the same thing in the performances. Luckily, it's not too much of a hindrance, and if you enjoy one you will probably enjoy the other. Unless you only watched Yuri!! on Ice for the weird teacher x student "romance". You won't find that in Ballroom.
Different fields, but the MCs share the same passion in pursuing their career driven from their admired person.
Both have decent soundtrack

Both are beautiful series full of glorious characters. Skating and dancing also have similarities.
If you liked one of these, you should definitely try the other one too. Here are many similarities. It simply reminds you of the other one when you watch one.
Sports/Beautiful art/ Well done story and characters
Firstly, they both focus on sports and it shows how the main character develops. Secondly, they both are encouraged by world class professionals of that sport and tatara is 15 and yuri is 23 which is pretty young to get high treatment.

It's perfect if you want a story where the characters live for what they love and find meaning in their lives, it really makes you love the characters.
Personally, I think Yuri On Ice is a masterpiece.

Both are sports and performed in a wide space. Male character are elegant.
The movement shown in Ballroom dance and Skating are similar and they explain their characters properly, Yuri on Ice are focused on male's feelings and ballroom e youkoso are towards the opposite sex.
Both are brilliant anime that surround a sport in which they are ranked based on performance, the general feel of the shows are quite similar, however in Ballroom the MC is a beginner in their field. The aura of romance in both are similar (despite none occuring on screen), if you like one you are bound to like the other.
