The setting is similar, dealing with gods and traditional Japanese mythology.
The overall feel is very similar, very light hearted with little life lessons along the way.
The show is verrry moe, with tons of cute girls doing cute things.
There's a similar soft yuri vibe in both series, with hinted romances.. Though Konohana leans a bit more towards it.
Even the main characters are similar, somewhat ditzy but pure of heart and making friends with everyone.
If you like one, you'll definitely like the other!

It's very similar shows. First our main characters. Then the setting (although the plot is different) The Youkai & Gods. And both have a group of girls - cute girls

Cute girls in a lighthearted slice of life anime? Yep. A somewhat clueless new girl who becomes friends with the rest of the group? Yep. A setting involving Japanese tradition and non-human characters? Totally. If you enjoyed Urara Meirochou and the show's cute, relaxing vibe, you'll probably like Konohana Kitan too!
They have a similar atmosphere in a similar environment, both have a cute girl main character who moves to town and who makes new friends. And those fox-like ears sometimes appear on Urara Meirochou's characters as well.
They both have something to do with ghosts, gods, spirits, and youkai. The main characters are similar since both the series start with them moving to a new place and making new friends there.

Both are about a group of cute girls who are set in a world where they have to deal with various supernatural, legendary Japanese creatures. Both give off a very similar vibe and have some yuri moments.
They both have really cute girls and the both main characters are currently in a place they never been before like the main character in konohana kitan always lived in the mountains with someone who adopted her and she experiences new things in konohana kitan and make new friends and in Urara Meirochou the main character was raised by her mothers friend in the forest and she came to the labyrinth town and makes great friends.
