Both have slices of life that dwell into Time Travel that seemly violates Einstein's Theory of Relativity and Newton's Law of Physics.

Both stories are odes to life, telling the story of a person suffering from depression who gradually rediscovers the joy of living thanks to a close-knit and supportive group of friends. The two stories are very similar, this is quickly noticed. But the two stories are complementary! They are wonderful !
- Both involve travelling through time, specifically to the past (with orange having letters, and Irozuku having Hitomi actually go back herself).
- Both centre around a group of high school friends.
- Both involve several romantic subplots.
- Both have moments of gorgeous animation.
- Both are quite light on the supernatural elements, mostly revolving around the slice of life side of things.
- Both only have 13 episodes and could be watched in a single weekend if you wanted to.
In general, the MC travels back in time to discover the meaning of life and the importance of friendship. The setting is also very interesting, and the MC's circle of friends is equally exciting and always positive towards the MC. With a touch of magic and fantasy, this anime is perfect for those who enjoy school-themed romance and fantasy genres. The development of all the characters in this anime is also very evident from the beginning to the end of the episode, providing satisfaction to the viewers and a very touching ending.
