Sometimes you think to yourself why? What is clearly an obvious attempt at repeating a phenomenon ended up failing harder than the Elric brothers' attempt at human transmutation.
Regardless, what we have here are two stories of those trying to become with one another through a series of events that involve a lot of the supernatural. Some kind of magical tale to tell for future generations.
Would really use this as a Your Name → Over the Sky recommendation, if you want something dumb that is. Do watch Your Name if you haven't already. It'd be a good choice.
