It's more just the fact that these two are literally similar as opposed to feels. The art style, romance story, teen love. You get the drift. Also live in a time that's a lot like the present day, presented in a way that doesn't seem too out of touch with reality.
Good as movies, maybe something to take in the long run. I personally wouldn't say Soda Pop is all that good, but it is there if you want a try. It's all fun if nothing else.

They're both movies with romantic undertones where the leads are basically polar opposites. Both movies also have a unique and beautiful art style, and are very heartwarming.
They both meet similary and the animation is very pretty :)
