Even with differences, nothing changes. The stories Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms and Your Name both follow protagonists with different lifestyles and far apart who try and come together understanding one another.
Promised Flower is building a family bond between an Iorph and human, whereas Your Name is about a relationship of a city boy and country girl.
Both are great visual masterpieces with one made by Makoto Shinkai, the other Mari Okada, someone Shinkai actually acknowledges quite well.
