Paradise Kiss does seem to be a bit more mature though.

Both focus around aspiring fashion models trying to make in the industry and one lead is the designer while the other would be the model as well too and of course elements of romance as well too.

Both anime have fashion as their main theme, both are about characters who sew their own clothes and try to succeed in a field of fashion industry with their model friend who puts on the clothes
