Both follow successors to some of the strongest characters in their respective universes.
Both are high intensity action shonen with plenty of battles, special abilities and power up's.
Both have dynamic and varied casts of lovable characters.
BnHA/MHA is clearly inspired by Boruto's prequel series the classics Naruto & Naruto Shippuden (Boruto being set in the same universe).

BnHA and Boruto. Both are set in a world where heroes (BnHA) and ninjas (Boruto) are included in modern society. Where boys of the new generation turn out to be the hope for the stability of society, with the teaching of what the previous heroes left behind and their own conviction of being a hero.

Both series begin with the main protagonist entering their respective, illustrious academies; UA in Heroaca and the Ninja Academy in Boruto. Both series are about the next generation of heroes growing up to surpass their predecessors.
Both are Shounen. Both MC's are striving to be the best. Fun Filled Anime. Boruto is slow paced while My Hero Academy has 2 seasons already and is fast paced.

Main characters are kids and they have powers. Good storyline, at least for me. Good animation also. Many and powerful villains.
