- Group of girls and their everyday life (Kobayashi san have men too)
- Both have the same amount (in almost every episode) of Comedy/Slice of life and a good equilibrium in both.
- Similar random events related to the anime location (Kobayashi san - Home/New Game - Work)
- Both have a little feeling of yuri

It was going to be just another day at the office, but then *she* turned up.
Sure, while in the case of 'New Game!' it was a new employee, and in 'Kobayashi-san' a giant, enamoured dragon; either will entertain a slice-of-life fan as they enjoy a comedy soup with just a dash of drama. If you like mostly female casts, get ready to gradually explore them, their histories and their motivations one by one as you watch lesbian romances disguised as friendships blossom.

Both shows give a similar vibe, having a cast of hilarious characters having fun throughout their "normal" everyday life. The animation style is very similar as well.

Both have mostly female cast that focus on their friendships doing everyday activities and have slight yuri undertones. If you want an environment that takes place other than school, these are primarily set at work or home. There's a balanced mix of comedy and endearing moments. Both have similar bright and colorful art.
> Both are slice of life shows

> Both have characters that change over time, and heartfelt moments
