- Both have cute girls going about with their daily lives (the girls in satella no mahou are still in school though) - Both groups of girls create games

Stella no Mahou is basically 'Amateur's New Game!'. By that I mean that in New Game!, one followed an adorable all-female cast of professional gamemakers on their way to a new title from the perspective of Aoba, who was new in the industry, whereas in Stella no Mahou, one follows an adorable all-female cast of highschoolers that want to make their own game from the perspective of Tamaki, who has little to no knowledge about making games.

I'd see this anime has many similarity in source, genres, and it's theme about game making. And both have not male chara too Somethings differ is New Game! Are much popular than Stella no Mahou in both anime or manga and the characters average age.

Both of these shows are similar in the way, in that they focus on Cute Girls making videogames and the protagonists learn how to improve their skills as an artist. Though New Game follows a big videogame studio making a game and it was the protagonists dream to join the company. Stella no Mahou focuses on a small club of highschool girls making doujinshi games and the protagonist in this joined the club more by chance.

Both shows are about cute girls making video games, both protagonists are learning artists, have comedy elements and slice of life elements. If you love game developments, you might enjoy these anime.

Both are about making games but in different settings New Game! is in a working setting while Stella no Mahou is in a school club setting Both anime also shows the struggles of making a game (New Game! goes more in-depth on this than Stella no Mahou)
