Main characters are battle geniuses, both of them want to avoid war but will fight when needed and come with the best solution for that time, the difference is that one wanted to be in the position of power to prevent it and the other one just wanted to have a good life and get away from all of this.
Anime focused on war, strategies, culture clashes and their consequences, they both try to show the bad side of war and that sometimes it's inevitable.
