I can see why you’d be surprised to see this as ‘similar’ but in a few ways they are. Especially the lead character; a pink haired girl with ‘bear-ear’ twin bun hair style who has serious mental health problems and a strong attachment(love?) to a ‘weaker’ girl she thinks she can control like a puppet on strings.
Satou really reminds me of an older Yuyu who’s been pushed to her absolute limit! The pair have a lot of differences and there are circumstances you cannot ignore in both series.
