First thing that popped into my mind was when I watched Yofukashi no Uta was Dagashi Kashi. It's like same personalities (or their essence) was transferred to another, more dark-neon universe with supernatural topping. They aren't similar in concept (YnU is not an educational anime comedy), but the spirit is here.
