Monsters and people with supernatural abilities both feature heavily in these series.
Although the animation, plot, and characters are very different, they give off the same vibe. As I was watching Kokkoku, I started thinking of Ajin as soon as I saw the creatures summoned in the world of Stasis.

Deep characters and a bit of a dark setting is reliable to both anime!
The villains and the psychological story is very very good and makes both anime to a must watch in my opinion!
