Intresting, likable, smart and very pretty adult main cast with awesome background stories for both :3 Also Ive seen many bsd fans be fans of Moriarty the Patriot so if u like bsd give this one a shot as well
Similar Themes: Adult Cast and Organized Crime
Both have Mystery as a Genre
Rating: R - 17+ (violence & profanity) for both
Psychological & Historical shows. The shows are focused on solving cases around them. The main characters in both shows are detectives.
Yuukoku no Moriarty is based on the famous detective - Sherlock Holmes - giving us a different perspective as him being the antagonist.
Whereas Bungo Stray Dogs is based on famous Japanese Authors & Poets -
Osamu Dazai, Akutagawa Ryuunosuke, Nakahara Chuuya & more
though Bungo Stray Dogs is not at all based on reality & is a supernatural anime.
In my opinion, both of them are masterpieces

Both are detective animes with two main groups clashing while following their own truth. There is suspense and tradegy showing there is no such thing as simple good or evil. Also, in both there is mind games which gives you chills till the end.

both touch on the overall plot/genre of detective work. though Bungou Stray Dogs' characters are ability users, whereas Moriarty's detective plot works more on deduction and thinking. however, both their main focus touches upon investigative detective work and crime solving. multiple characters, and also a heavy, overall 'dark' theme on both.
Both stylish & sleek shows dealing with crime, detective work, and their interplay in improving society. Both have many allusions to classic literature that an avid reader might enjoy. The interplay between Sherlock and Moriarty mirrors many of the character relationships in BSD. Both have similar visual styles. Moriarty the Patriot is a little bit less action focused, a bit more serious, and has more politics compared to BSD, but both have exciting action sequences and strong but not overbearing philosophical and political vibes.
