Both shows are about members of mafias that are at war, characters with supernatural powers, a high intellect to fight, bizarre, varied and colorful personalities, and a mix of humor and drama that can be considered a show for both adults and young people.
It's also about gangsters with powers and a pretty good story, interesting and different powers and great characters although it focusses more on mysteries and situations rather then how to defeat the enemy the shows are still pretty similar and uses the "Villain of the week" trope.

Both have gangsters as well as the main cast and villains having special abilities that work in a similar way. Both have likeable characters with very diverse personalities. Both are similar in their real-life references, with Jojo referencing bands and songs, and bsd referencing Japanese authors and poets. There is a mix of dark as well as humorous scenes throughout both, having a similar vibe.
