Both are lighthearted, relaxed, fun-loving shows that leave you feeling satiated. Some would make a point of calling them both Iyashikei (healing anime). Which is essentially saying both are chicken soup for the soul.

Both series belong to the iyashikei genre, in that both provide the audience with a soothing, relaxed feeling upon viewing. This is bolstered by the use of natural environments set away from the bustling cities, chill soundtracks that utilize acoustic instruments, and light-hearted humor from the (moe) characters. I enjoy both series for the feelings they invoke in me while viewing, so like-minded viewers may feel the same way

Both are Slice of Life shows with a relaxing, laid-back vibe. Yuru Camp is a group of cute girls camping and basically doing just that. Flying Witch is about a witch doing ordinary things that the average person would do every day, except for that part that she's a witch doing magic and flying around town on a broomstick, of course. Both shows have a beautiful background setting and a nice soundtrack that makes the viewer feel immersed in the show.
