Thunder (1982), Ghost (1984) and Grim (1985) all three vary the same concept of a moving camera in a building, with overlayed light effects and footage of human faces. They all take place in different locations (office, apartment, house facility basement installation). This is an ideal setting to see how the idea evolved. I consider Thunder the strongest contender in this field.
