The genre of romance between the two aren't the same at all. However, in both, the main character (in the case of Junjou though the more rational one in each of the couples, I suppose) has to deal with irrational or uncontrollable people and their significant other. Artwork is almost similar, mostly feeling wise. Comedy all around.
This might sound dumb but the main couple in Junjou Romantica reminds me of Misaki and Isui's relationship, plus the main character is also named Misaki and his way older than him boyfriend is alot like Usui, he even sometimes turns into a chibi-ish style when he's being smug ( or something like that ) like Usui does, he's also very persistent like Usui is.
