Kamisama Dolls

Basically, the main characters can control mecha-like entities and make them fight one another (thus creating a lot of turmoil) but at some point they change their masters. The creatures are to be kept in secret, though in the process more people learn about them.
The characters possess, train and control mecha-like idols through telepathy. These otherworldly "gods" are supposed to be a secret, but at least one outsider inevitably finds out. The antagonist has a bone to pick with the main character and follows him around. Three episodes into the series, the characters seem more inclined to use the gods for settling personal spats than for a greater good.
Kamisama Dolls looks like it'll have more backstory and drama than Cencoroll. Slated for 13 episodes, it has way more room to explore. If Cencoroll is too short, this is paradise.
