Both shows parody the logic and cliches of the isekai genre in a rather amusing way, although they are otherwise quite different in terms of style and target audience.

Both shows are parody on isekai genre, though with different approach. Konosuba is more about comedy, while Ojisan is more about "realism" of an otaku thrown into the cruel isekai world.

Both are isekai parodies that are actually funny and don't take themselves too seriously, but still deliver hype action scenes and emotional moments.
Both series are a parody of the isekai genre, both have a main character who plays video games and have the same vibe.
You want one parody? You want one witty, pathetic, yet somewhat charming main character? You want one isekai that bends tropes beyond your expectations? Now you've got two. Isekai Ojisan and KonoSuba are labeled isekai, yet they're somehow bending all that you know about this genre of anime. You'd expect some OP character bending space and time to save the world, but here, they're just being themselves, and that's what makes these anime so great. If you want a refresher after your basic isekai that you probably watched over and over again, here are two great series you should definitely check out.
