Both movies are pretty light-hearted stories with focus mostly on romance and the characters' daily struggles
The two give off the same vibes. Both really heartwarming rather then just like a straight up yaoi if you know what i mean.

Both are about two guys falling in love in the first 15 minutes of the movie and the rest of the movie is the snapshots of their relationship. Both have the same feel and are very relaxing to watch. No unnecessary drama.
Also the kiss scenes and the way both the MCs interact with each other is very well done and give out similar vibes

Throughout the movie we watch how the characters relationships develop and the issues they face - They're both simple romance that made my heart flutter with a satisfactory ending ;))
Both movies show a realistic depiction on same sex love/relationships instead fetishizing it D:>
