They both have ecchie situation that are similar
The base plot of both is extremely similar, if not the same. The only major difference I've seen until now is the targeted audience, busou shoujo machiavellianism is like a "kid-version" of prison school.
Co-ed between both opposite genders are off-limited... Supposedly every girls in their school are very secure...
The Act of some Laws in an Elite Prestigious Academy.. are way strict...
Both are indeed.. enjoyable yet having a wrong routine.. from their youth
