Two fantastic deconstructions of the mecha genre.
Both have relatable protagonists that really resonated with me.
Both stories have had a massive impact on my world view. I can say without a doubt that I would not be the person I am today without either of these anime.
They both have mature and complex themes that really made me think.
I also felt similar emotional investment in those two anime that has never been matched by anything else.
If you loved Evangelion you will love the deep complex masterpiece that is Iron Man.
