Both of these animes are ecchi/harem animes (and if you were to read the Rosario manga, it would also become a very serious battle manga). They both have a male who gets surround by stronger female characters, and both mostly focus on their relationships with that male instead of the given plot. There is a good amount of fan service in both, although Rosario's is less explicit. The main female protagonists are very similar also, all the way down to them having split-personality transformations. Rosario is a bit longer, so if you enjoyed Samurai Girls, you'll have even more time to enjoy Rosario + Vampire.
