Both are simple anime where there isn't much of story to be told throughout the entire anime. They both have simple sketches in which they add humor in and usually every episode consist of multiple sketches.
They both “something” in multiple scenarios. For example, Acchi Kocchi it’s Tsumiki crush on Io, and in Minami-ke it’s Makoto’s cross-dressing.
And final (although most don’t consider this to be a reason to watch an anime) both anime have similar openings
Both are similar in the sense that they're rather funny but they don't overdo the humour. Both are interesting and funny in their own right and the 2 anime involves romance ( although not so much in Minami-ke
