DiGi Charat and Nyoron Churuya-san feature a similar certain type of humor combining SD moe-ness with random and silly situations.
The protagonists Dejiko and Churuya are both green haired chibi girls trying to cope with the often harsh environment they live in. While it is Churuya's only wish to obtain more of her beloved smoked cheese, Dejiko works hard in a computer store in Akihabara to become a famous actress. Both girls talk in a specific manner relating to cat-like sounds, as Dejiko ends every sentence with the syllable "-nyo" and Churuya expresses various emotions by simply saying "nyoron".
