Very similar. Extreme plot twists and many other similarities that I can't say without spoiling one or the other. If you like one, you're sure to like the other! Lovable characters and great, captivating, gripping plotlines.

Similar end storylines. Personally I think Charlotte had the better ending.

the similarities between these two anime is that they have memories lost. If you like Erased because of the unexpected events, I would greatly recommend Charlotte as there are also many unsuspected events that happened and is very enjoyable to watch.

Both have really big plot twists you wouldn't expect and both cover people with disabilities and or unfair life chances. They both have very lovable characters too so i would really recommend you watch this if you enjoyed Charlotte as much as me!

Both anime showcase the transformation of a character who at the beginning has no friends, but changes due to help from a girl. Also there is more to the story that what meets the eye in the first episode in both anime.Last but not lease theres time travel, although its way more present in erased where in charlotte its not so major

A special one creates a plot twist. Though Charlotte and Erased are very different from one another, without going into too much detail, both anime have a plot twist which is in relation to someone special, consequently both anime react in the same way to resolve this twist. With Charlotte being a slow romance dealing with students with superpowers, Erased is a dark murder mystery in which, tries to show people why they are special.

In a sense to a triller and a plot progression anime, ERASED is a good next anime to watch.

Both animes have a main character who starts out as lonely and doesn’t have very many friends, but in the end they grow to have close friends around them. They both are pretty sad and involve changing the past/future. There are lots of similarities, and I guarantee that if you like one then you like the other.

Charlotte is charming, in its own way. If only it just expanded more and dug deeper. It could have beaten the competition easily. But well, too late for that. It’s still a good anime, and that’s why I’m putting it here. The events of the plot are in a time loop. And as you probably know, time travel always leads to surprising twists! Charlotte was decent, but you may not find it as satisfying as ERASED.
