• Both are beautiful coming of age story Yubisaki to Renren lean more towards romance wherelse Koe no Katachi focus more on character development and explores very deep and powerful themes such as bullying, disability, forgiveness, mental health, suicide, and friendship.
• Both the anime's female MC is deaf-mute and also kinda look similar in their appearance and behaviour.
• Both the anime have different beautiful artstyle, doesn't look generic.
I'm going to be that guy--"A Sign of Affection" and "A Silent Voice" only have one thing in common and that is a character who is hard of hearing. Beyond that, these two series are night and day. A Silent Voice explores the redemption of a former bully and how he seeks forgiveness for his past. One of the people he bullied was a young lady who was deaf.

Depicted about two deaf beautiful young lady who have a common background in love, friendship, and problem, but in beautiful way that makes us realize that everyone have no control if we can make our own destiny about past and future. Everyone need a second change to be appreciated in life, no matter how many deficiency we have, so we can find a true and meaningful life is :)
