Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi

These are both Martial Arts anime, where Kenichi just wishes to get strong enough to protect the people he loves, and Baki wants to defeat his dad and become the strongest being on earth. However, they are very similar in the concept of following the main character win fights and get stronger as the series progresses. The art and character design of these series are quite different though, and may take some getting used to, but they're both very much worth it. If you are a martial arts anime fan, then chances are you have seen Kenichi. There are plenty of differences, however both anime have character development; something you don't see in many anime pertaining to fighting. typically its just some overpowered character who can beat everyone.
I found both of these anime instructional. I learned many techniques and they have in depth explanations for each.
