Although the two shows feature different settings and genres, the two shows are about groups of people making a journey who end up stranded with someone who shouldn't be there, ultimately trying to survive while weeding out the odd man out. Spoilers for both shows are deadly and should be avoided at all costs.
Group of characters are stranded / lost / stuck in a situation set up in order to dispose of them.
There is also an infiltrator among them attempting to sabotage their mission and tear apart them from within.
A group of people banded together and go on a journey.. but wait there's an enemy among them, and so the trust and distrust developed suspecting each other. Connecting the fragments to unravel the truth.

i fell rokka no yuusha is better at the mystery and Traitor Part
but the setting and Feels of the show hit hard in Kanata
so trust me when i say if you like one of this you will like the other
