Emotion. I'll make this one short because the extrapolation is hard here. However, a valid point to bring to the table is how these two question the very emotion of man through the use of two inhuman beings. What answers will they find, and how will they react? That is down to them in these series of iterations of interactions about human and non-human relations to emotion.

These shows have very similar MCs, in the sense that they are both trying to understand emotions. Although the two series have different settings, the writing is pretty alike. The animes are episodic, and they include stories of side characters, which also develop the main cast. Because of that, they give off similar feelings. If you like one of them, I am certain you will enjoy the other one.
what comes after death? what is life? even for humans these topics are impossible to explain with words, let alone for A.I.'s and arbiters, Death parade shares the same premise to how Vivy: Flourite Eye's Song tackled both the existential dread and emotions of each character, can't really put it in words but if you loved Vivy then for sure you are going to love Decim!
