Both food based anime with similar anime styles, cute girls as fanservice, and an intense focus on descriptions, food reactions, and Japanese food culture.
Both are cooking anime with a focus on describing food. Whilst Shokugeki is a more shonen style food competition, Isekai Shokudou is a more laid back anime with each episode following a new customer with no real meta-plot but continuity between episodes.
Both anime take an untraditional spin on cooking show. While Shokugeki no Souma does it in battle shounen style, Isekai Shokudou does it in isekai style. Both feature detailed animation depicting food, detailed description of the taste and of course, foodgasms.
Food, munch, chow, sustenance, however you think of it , both have it, so it's "FOOD PORN, Baby" you know you gotta have it...even if it's just in the anime.........
Anime about a chefs son who goes to culinary school and engages in cooking competitions. Not a fantasy series, however.

Both anime heavily involve food. They both showcase VERY aesthetically pleasing dishes along with how they're made! One big difference between the two is that Shokugeki's MC is focused on for the majority of the anime, while Isekai Shokudou tends to focus more on the numerous recurring characters.
Both the anime has the similar of style of making food and making other to eat and we get to see their satisfied faces but they don't have the competitive part in common
