Food! Memories! Feelings! Are the main factors in which these two series are similar on. The two anime consists of the characters in their series eating food. After eating the food in the two series the characters either reminisces about their previous experiences while tasting it or describes the taste of the food.
Both anime revolve around the topic of food and it's taste. While in SnS, the MC is an aspiring chef making more and more delicious dishes and giving people foodgasms, Wakako-zake is centers around a consumer of dishes. Wakako (the MC) walks into another establishment every episode and savors every bit of the food (or drink) she orders there.
Also: SnS is a double-cour full-length anime while Wakako-zake is a single-cour short anime, meaning the latter doesn't have much in the way of in-depth story telling, lol... which however doesn't stop it from being an enjoyable title to watch.
