Attractive, reliable, good boys, Kintarou and Saeba use to be misestimated by girls, just because guys look like rakes. But time after time main characters appear in all themselves glory.
One episode – one mission – one girl.
Ryo Saeba and Kintaro Oe are very similar characters. They're both loveable, goofy perverts who put on a veil of seriousness to hide their true intentions. The art styles are pretty similar as well, even though Golden Boy is a bit better animated.
The major difference between the two is that Golden Boy focuses mostly on comedy and rediculous situations, while City Hunter focuses mostly on action, with some comedy thrown in for good measure.
