Kaijuu no Kodomo

I found the visuals of both these films gorgeous. In Birth, it was more the animation, in Kaijuu no Kodomo, more the background art.
In many scenes, there are people falling or floating.
Not many words are spoken, and if there are, they did not make much sense to me...
The stories were somehow about birth and rebirth and cosmic forces, but I could not really follow, because during the beautiful scenes, my thoughts were wandering somewhere else and I found myself dozing off, which I consider as a bad sign regarding entertainment value.
But for someone who can sit through almost 2 hours just for the beautiful art,
