Denpa teki na Kanojo and Kara no Kyoukai feel very similar in a couple of ways, the rainy and gloomy atmosphere for both, and the whole murder mystery deal. Hell, even the first time I took a glimpse at both of these shows I couldn't tell the difference between them. Both are equally good and you should enjoy the similarities between these great shows.
Both are involved in solving an abnormal murder case. Kara no Kyoukai has a more supernatural tone then Denpa teki na Kanojo. If you like one of them then you'll definitely like the other.
Both series contains mystery and elements of horror and suspense.
Both series' stories are dark, twisted, and has a strange nature but is surprisingly enjoyable to watch.
The style of the storytelling in both series are also similar as well as the tone. Both series' main protagonists are also somewhat similar.
Both of these shows have a lot of similarities. The format is similar, the story-telling style is similar, the mood and pacing is pretty much the same. Both stories contain a kind-hearted, yet strong male lead along with a mysterious girl. Both girl characters are yandere. Both contain a good bit of graphic content and a few psychotic characters. And of course, both shows are brilliantly written and ultimately fantastic.
Have a sinister similar atmosphere and a thriller aspect as in both case the main duo has to face some murder cases. Also show the psychology of some broken characters.
Although I believe that Kara no Kyoukai is better due to better art, music and allows much more character depth due to its 7 movies length.

Dark urban setting. Deep but nuanced themes and intensely gripping. If you like the Kara no Kyoukai franchise check out the the short 2( double lenghth) episodes ova Denpa-teki na Kanojo
Interplay between Main Characters and Love Interests is similar. Both have Neo-Noir themes.

Vibe: dark, raining
Theme: murder
Characters: Both MCs are duo and share the same dynamic ((misunderstood) rude, violent x high EQ, dedicated)
These two anime have such a similar feel to them that I‘m convinced that they have to be siblings in some way.
The most obvious point is the atmosphere. The scenes are long, the voices are calm, the scenery is big and the feeling is mysterious. They understand that immersion comes from a balance of cinematic means (i.e. camera, music, color, etc.) and an engaging story doesn‘t simply entertain the viewer, but engages them emotionally or logically (mostly the latter for these two).
Another very similar aspect is the dialogue. It‘s unusual, sometimes even unnatural, but at the same time thoughtful, interesting and information packed. You‘ll
