These two shows are similar in a way that they share many themes but the main ideas behind each show are polar opposites. In both shows there are people with the ability to see and interact with ghosts or spirits. However in Kyoukai no Rinne the idea is to make the ghosts move on to the afterlife so they can be reincarnated, but in Re-Kan! the protagonist does the opposite in causing the ghosts to stay earth bound by befriending them and interacting with them. Both anime have the supernatural feature very present, and thats their main similarity!(esepcially thats the similarity of both the heroins)
Both of them are also hilarious though they have a different kind of humour!
They have also the same atmosphere, school and normal Japanese life!
Their animation is kinda different-as Kyoukai no Rinne follows Rumiko Takahasi's usual style-but both are fun to watch!!!
