If you want more from mangaka Kei Toume, your options are unfortunately limited, and Sing Yesterday fans may may need to settle for the Lament of the Lamb OVA. Clearly made on a shoestring budget, Hitsuji no Uta is objectively the weaker of the two series; however, both titles explore uniquely troubled characters, with Toume's traditional art background seeping into the narrative.
On the plus side, the few Hitsuji no Uta fans like myself finally have a decent Kei Toume adaptation to look forward to in Sing Yesterday for Me, which sensitively captures the original's mature and complex relationships.
