While watching Qualidea I just got the feeling of Cross Ange. It's not like they have a ton in common, superficially, but they have similar feels to them. There are common aspects in each:
A world built on lies, providing some mystery and intrigue
One major, edgy character (Ange is better though)
Battles that take place over the ocean
Rebellion against the status quo
Both are original anime with fully concluded endings though Qualidea has other media that go along with it
Both are definitely 3-episode rule anime (though Ange had me at episode 2)
There are some differences as well, Cross Ange
is twice the length
follows primarily one character
is a bit
