Both shows are very comedic. The main similarity is the protagonist, Kazuma in Konosuba and Rance in well Rance. It's eponymous. Rance's character is able to carry the franchise alone. Both protagonists are young men, Kazuma is about 16 whereas Rance is in his 20's. They live life on their own terms. The difference is that Rance is able to get away with it better. Both shows occur in a fantasy type world but the protagonist in Konosuba is transported from our world to the fantasy world, Rance is not. Both men's actions could both be described as "questionable". Rance is basically Kazuma's character taken
